Mike Brown is a Fine Art Photographer and Photographic Educator based near the beautiful villages of Courtmacsherry and Timoleague in West Cork. Mike has been a professional photographer for over 28 years and has built a tremendous reputation for his photographic work during this time.
During his career he has shot a wide variety of subject matter including press images for both Reuters news agency [in Ireland for London pic desk] and Provision photo agency in Cork. He has shot over 800 wedding assignments plus hundreds of Portrait, Commercial and P.R. commissions.
His prints have been collected by photography lovers and commercial clients as far away as Singapore, USA, Australia and New Zealand as well as many other places around the globe. His work has featured in Newspapers, Magazines, Books, Calendars and websites worldwide.
Mike has taught photography for many years, imparting his wide knowledge and experience to many groups and individuals of all levels in easy to understand ways. He teaches Digital, Analogue and Vintage processes.
While he is always continuing his work in the landscape and on commercial assignments using the latest digital technology, Mike is currently also spending more time working with Vintage and Analogue processes in his personal work.
